I was pretty proud of the v0.2 update... until I showed it to a family member and he found three bugs right away. Guess I got hasty...
...anyway, never fear! That's what patches are for!
Introducing v0.2.1! It's like v0.2, but it doesn't have so many pesky bugs that'll screw over your run! Also, it has ".1" at the end.
Gameplay and Balance Changes
- Refreshing a unit will no longer restore its ability to use Overclock (other skills are still restored)
- This fixes an exploit where two units with Overclock could refresh each other infinitely
Bugfixes
- Fixed an issue where if a unit was killed by a pushing move (Shove or Twister) and was then replaced on death (by Grim or a Ghoul), the replacing unit's sprite and its actual location would become desynced (and stuff would become super glitchy in general)
- Fixed an issue where enemies would sometimes use illegal moves (e.g. striking a non-adjacent unit)
- This happened because enemies would plan out their moves before actually doing them, so an enemy might decide to Strike a golem, that golem would be pushed out of the way by another enemy, but then the first enemy would do its Strike anyway
- Now that this is fixed, enemies will take turns individually (choosing moves and then immediately doing them), which should also make them a little smarter
- Fixed Cross Beam just not working at all
